Happy Birthday Bekah!
Rebekah Marie... "As a rose among the thorns, so is my beloved among the daughters." Song of Solomon 2:2
Today is Bekah's 17th birthday... She was born at home in Citrus Heights, California at 6:38 p.m. She weighed 8 1/2 pounds and was 20 inches long. She was named after a friend Becca, but we gave her the BIblical spelling Rebekah and then shortened it to Bekah. Her name Rebekah means "Captivate" or "Captivating" and "Faithful Wife". She is a rose among thorns! Her middle name came from my mom, Lois Marie. Marie means "Beauty and Grace"
She is number 5 of 5 children, born on the 5th day of the 12th month. She was born on Sunday... and truly a blessing, and a child of grace! Thank You Lord for Bekah!

God's Summer of Love Tour
From Nashville we went on to Kansas City, then Wichita, KS for several days; from there through Oklahoma, then the northern tip of Texas, in to Albuquerque, NM where we stayed several days and worshipped and prayed; then on to Sedona, AZ where we stayed a week. We camped in tents on a football field of the local high school in Sedona. Then from there we went on to San Diego. We stayed there a few days spending some of the time in Encinitas ministering, and also one night at the most popular night club in the area, where we had a drum circle and worship time on the roof. From there we went to Los Angeles where 1/2 of our group stayed at Angelus Temple (built by Aimee Semple McPherson) and the rest stayed in South Central LA at a Korean church. We ministered in LA and in Santa Monica. From there we traveled north to San Francisco for our final stop. We spent a week there and on our last day we had a concert in the Golden Gate Park on Hippie Hill. During that week we ministered in the Haight-Ashbury District and at UC Berkeley. There were so many other wonderful places and events on the trip. We started with a fairly large group, and ended up in San Francisco with over 300. We camped out in tents and in churches across America. It was a ministry trip that changed our lives forever!
